Agricultural Education Day is celebrated in India on December 3rd. The Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) designated this day to commemorate the birth anniversary of Dr. Rajendra Prasad, the first President of Independent India and Union Minister of Agriculture.
The goal of this day is to expose students to various aspects of agriculture and its importance to the development of the country.
