About the course: This is a two-week training program in the domain of Technology transfer which is being organised under the Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation (ITEC) program, supported by the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India. The training program aims to be comprehensive and is touted to delve into a wide range of vital topics pertaining to technology transfer.
Course Impact: By the end of the course, participants will be able to understand the complete technology transfer process, identify and evaluate innovations for commercial potential, and protect them through appropriate intellectual property rights. They will be equipped to assess technology readiness, conduct basic market research, choose suitable commercialization pathways, and explore funding and partnership opportunities. Additionally, they will be able to navigate key legal agreements and overcome common challenges, ultimately developing and presenting a practical technology transfer strategy tailored to their context.
Target Participants: Policy makers & Officials of the National governments, public & private sector organizations, research and academic institutions involved in Innovation, Professionals involved in Entrepreneurship, Intellectual Property management and Technology Transfer;
Educational qualifications: University degree in science, engineering, law, management, business management, economics, social studies, etc.
Work experience required: 3 Years of experience in Research, Technology IP and technology management field and roles.
