Dr. Moses Shyam is Scientist in the Technology Adoption and Impact Analysis Cluster under the Enabling Systems Transformation Global Research Program. He holds a PhD in Agricultural Economics from Acharya NG Ranga Agricultural University (ANGRAU). At ICRISAT he has coordinated multiple projects related to natural resources management and Markets, Institutions and Policies, supporting the multiple projects implemented by ICRISAT.
With a focus on agricultural in the drylands, his main research interests are in the fields of agricultural development economics, including technology adoption, ex-ante and ex-post impact analysis agricultural technologies and development projects, value chain and market research. He had extensive field experience in conducting small to large-scale household surveys baseline surveys, and managed research projects.
Prior to joining ICRISAT, he worked in KPO sector and has extensive research and analytical experience with a focus on improving the project efficiency
