National Farmers' Day in India is celebrated on December 23rd. It is also known as Kisan Divas in Hindi. The day is celebrated to honor and appreciate farmers for their contributions to society and holds special significance as it coincides with the birth anniversary of Choudhary Charan Singh, who was the fifth Prime Minister of India and a prominent leader of Indian farmers.
