In July 2019, Alice assumed the prestigious role of Regional Director for Africa with the World Wildlife Fund (WWF), embarking on a mission to position WWF as a central force in both regional and international sustainability efforts. As she guides the organization's operations across the continent, her leadership is pivotal in spearheading initiatives that align with WWF’s global conservation objectives to forge significant environmental progress.

Prior to her engagement with WWF, Alice made substantial contributions to Conservation International. She initially served as the Executive Director of the Vital Signs Programme, advocating for policy-making informed by robust data across four countries, eventually expanding the project to include 12 additional nations. Promoted to Interim Vice President of Sustainable Production, Alice worked collaboratively across multiple sectors to design frameworks that would guide African governments and corporate sectors toward sustainable practices in critical industries, including agriculture, mining, and energy. In her final role at Conservation International, as Vice President of Programs and Partnerships, she skillfully integrated science, strategy, and fundraising to amplify the impact of conservation programs throughout Africa.

Earlier in her career, Alice was at the forefront of the Global Environment Finance Unit in Africa for the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), where she was instrumental in mobilizing over $600 million in support of environmental initiatives across more than 40 sub-Saharan countries.

Her foundational experiences also include roles at the National Environment Management Authority in Uganda, Forest Trends in the USA, and Sprint Corporation. Additionally, she has provided expert consultancy for leading global entities such as the World Bank, UNEP, and the UNFCCC Secretariat.
